MINI-VES is an automated benchtop four places analyzer designed to measure the Erithrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), directly in the Diesse VACU-TEC tube, which is used as primary collection tubes and testing cuvettes. The analyzer determines the ESR utilizing the principle of the Ves Matic system which measures, by means of infrared sensors, the change in the opacity of the blood column as the sedimentation of the blood progresses.
